Somehow, this quest manages to kill the ENTIRE smuggler storyline for me.
Everything else is awesome. Act One, going back and forth with Skavak, as a whole is completely epic. I admit that after that point I lose a bit of my motivation for the story, but it's still solid and Corso makes it well worthwhile, as awesome as he is.
Then I get to Hoth and try to infiltrate the White Maw Pirates. Everything's going along fine and then... I don't trust Shai Tenna as a rule, because I don't trust anyone. Furthermore, I've been warned that I can't trust Shai Tenna. Shai Tenna has just told me himself that I can't trust him. And... my street-smart smuggler allows one of Shai's thugs to walk past her, then sneak up and whack her unconscious....? WTF, Bioware?
To make matters worse, my companion has NO reaction to this. Any companion should have some reaction, I should think. I think it makes it worse that Corso Riggs, whom my smuggler is in a romance with, who has sworn never to let anyone hurt her again... just... stands there, expressionless. NOT IMPRESSED.
I just can't take any of this seriously. It's laughably and insultingly out of character for both the smuggler and the companion. *shakes head*
